This product has two problems. First of all, this is labeled as 1/2 in several places -" system presented. No it's not. The lid of the box actually does prominently say '1/2" OD'. The reality is that this is a 3/8" (inner diameter) system. If you ordering other parts, including for example standard NPT fittings, you will need to order 3/8" components. When ordering other Rapidair components you will need the black push-in fittings, not the shiny 1/2" fittings. . References to 1/2 inch OD in the literature for this system are correct but misleading. In fact, Rapidair makes a 1/2" OD (ID) system that they call the "1/2" system. This is the standard side. This system appears to have been mislabeled by a marketing freak who didn't had considered how messy that would be.The second disadvantage is that the system is really only configured one way - as a compressor in the middle with two legs, each ending in one of the outputs Significantly increase flexibility, including the ability to place the compressor at the end of the system rather than in the middle.
