The remote does not sync with the hub

Good fans in terms of quality and sound but I have ordered 2 sets and cannot sync the remotes. The fans freeze all the time by default and no matter how hard I try, I can't sync the remote to be able to change colors or effects. You can return one uninstalled set and discard the other. It's frustrating to expect that I'm in control of the fans and not.
