Review on Arris TM602G Telephony Modem [Bulk Packaging]: Boost Your Network with Docsis Technology by Nick Shirodkar

I only gave this modem one star because it is a DOCSIS 2 modem and Comcast will NOT add it to your account (even for basic telephony use). Comcast supports DOCSIS 2 (and likely will for some time, this TM602G replaces Comcast's TM604G - same model but with 4 voice lines instead of 2). The ONLY Arris phone modems that Comcast will add to your account and provide as of today 10/12/16 are the TM862G, TM622G and TM822G. A Comcast representative showed me the screen used to add a customer's phone modem. You can ONLY choose one of these three models for Arris. So beware buyers, this is NOT a good choice for Comcast (use the TM822G if you only need telephony and/or DOCSIS 3 high-speed data without built-in Wi-Fi).
