Review on 💨 Enhance Your Cooling Efficiency with SilverStone PWM Fan Hub System Cables (CPF04) – Black by Michael Finnegan

I bought this because it had amazing reviews. However, after purchasing it, I decided to look at the 1-star reviews to see what kind of issues people were having. The most common of these was that people couldn't control their fans (shpm). This is most likely caused by not using the CPU_FAN header, instead using the cha fan or sys fan header. Usually these control power, not PWM. However, this is NOT MY PROBLEM. I read in a certain review that this controller actually burned one of their hard drives (probably because they used the same SATA cable as the hard drive for power). I also read that their PSU started smoking and ruined his PSU. I didn't see many other people saying this controller was horrible or messing up their stuff so if I understood it was a one time thing. I connected all mine. I used the correct connector, I used a separate SATA cable just in case I connected a PWM fan to it. I hit the power button on my computer and my lights just blinked, that was it. So I got nervous. I took everything out and turned on the computer. The same thing. Now I was very angry because I recently got a new suitcase and didn't want to take everything apart. I tried 10 more times and the same. I finally turned it off (as I always do) and hit the power button on the phone about 100 times to try to "reset" the power in the phone, thinking my power supply had failed. I turned it on and it worked. SHORT STORY. My computer was working great until I installed this. Then suddenly it wouldn't start at all. Make your lights blink only when I press power. I deleted it and it did something strange to my computer. I will return it and buy better or more expensive.
