Excellent quality. Costs money.

After reading the reviews I bought this 7 piece non-stick Ceramica induction set for our new RV 6 months ago. We cook a lot and I find that good tools make our lives easier because they work consistently and are therefore usually worth the investment. (This turned out to be true when we recently rented a house from VRBO for a vacation and cheap kitchen appliances and pans were a nightmare, food stuck and burned.) Magma Pans work so well I got them out of RV use it in my kitchen at home when we're not out. I have good cookware, but it performs as well or even better, weighs less, cleans faster and takes up less space due to the way it's stored. We prepare daily meals and also make daily dog food for our aging German shepherd so this set is used very often. At this rate, we used up and threw away a large pan every six months, even the most expensive brands. This Ceramica non-stick coating held up so well that I bought another large set of ten items for everyday home use, plus a colander and frying pan. I like that the bottom heats up quickly and evenly, gives a good roast and doesn't leak the edges of the pan. I thought I'd prefer my glass lids to these (they're stainless steel) but I prefer these; They fit well, weigh less and clean faster than my glass and ceramic coated cast iron lids. I like that the pot handles are strong, attach easily and stay secure. We accidentally placed the pan with the handle protruding beyond the indicator light - it really took a beating but didn't take any damage. I will not comment on this yet as I have only used them on propane and gas burners so far. Hello Magma! Please make a square or oblong non-stick ceramic skillet (multi-burner?) that you can purchase separately. It would be great if a handle could be attached and if the sides were a few inches high so we could cook pancakes, cakes and casseroles on the stovetop or in the oven. Now I use a big round pan for this, but it's easier for my kids to use square pieces (so they don't get dirty). I know it doesn't fold like the other pieces, but I have a cheap square with rounded corners (maybe an 8-10 inch square) and when the magma set is closed it just fits in the cheap pan on the extra of your Graus Pad to protect against scratches. If the elastic cord was longer, would it be possible to attach it diagonally below and above the set of round pots? I'm not the only mom who would buy it. Thanks for the great products!
