So I have a B&D Random Orbital Polisher that I used to buff out scratches on a rental car - elderly mom used to play bumper cars in her garage. Thinking it would be a waste not to use it, I decided to use velcro to turn the polisher into a random grinder. I've polished my first project, a china cabinet that I'm going to turn into a bookcase for the library as a gift. It worked wonderfully. These sanding pads will last forever and their variety ensures you have the right grit for the job. I have many sanding projects and this box would be the perfect helper for projects like a cabin, repainting kitchen cabinets, repainting a patio, etc. The heating circles in the pads will end up creating a few circles on the sanding surface, but finer sand will bring them out . Very surprised how durable the coarse sand turned out to be. I don't think I've ever had to throw it away due to wear and tear.
