Review on π Dorman 989-712 Ignition Lock Cylinder: OE FIX for Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Models by Daniel Mandal
Excellent kit for replacing the lock cylinder with programmer.
This is required for the Ford DIY key cylinder replacement kit supplied with the programmer. READ and FOLLOW the instruction manual. The only problem I had with this set is OM (Operator Malfunction). I was in a hurry and missed a step. Called Dorman support and got instructions on how to fix the correct installation. The truck is running great now. 5 star technical support and product. Thanks Dorman.
