Some Relief with the heel cups

I've had on off again problems with heel pain for a few years. It's been constant over the last 6 months and have tried a number of things. After the x-ray which showed nothing, I started physical therapy for several months. Part of that included the topical steroid patch. That helped a bit, but nothing like a cure. I added a night foot splint (Body Armor) the equation. That helped a bit, but again no real 'cure'. These heel cups were the latest addition to the treatment plan.Overall,I'd have to say that these were the most cost effective of the things which have helped. I do feel less pain the next morning if I wore these the day before. I'm not pain free, but these have helped.I'm come to the conclusion that this type of foot pain is caused by many different things and each person will find a different solution to the problem.I'm quite a few months and quite a few hundred dollars into trying to solve this problem. The $10 spent on these were definitely worth it.As some of the other reviews, they are quite large. I have size 12.5 feet, so they're fine for me, but I would see them being too large on a size 11 or so foot, depending on your heel width. You can wear them inside your sock which is helpful if the side or your shoe is low cut. If your socks are tight enough, you can even use these without shoes. I don't like wearing shoes in the house, so this does work.I'll use these for a while and see if the pain continues to go away. If not, next stop is the custom orthotics at a big price. So, I'm hoping these, with the night splint, and stretching will do the trick.

Pros
  • Durable and Long-Lasting: These heel cups are made from high-quality materials in the USA, ensuring their durability and long-lasting performance
Cons
  • May not provide enough cushioning for people who walk long distances
