I ordered it 2 days ago when it was very cold and windy. It arrived today and I was very excited but it was 75 degrees Fahrenheit and nice so I couldn't use it at work. As soon as the sun went down and I drove home, it was about 45 degrees Fahrenheit. So I put on my new balaclava (not to be confused with baklava) and rolled down the car windows. I rode 16 miles at speeds up to 70 mph and felt no wind anywhere but around my eyes. So I can say with some confidence that this is indeed a windbreak as advertised. The only reason this doesn't get a 5 star rating is that they are quite snug when you put them on. I have a medium sized head for a man and felt like I was wearing scuba gear. But when it was on, it felt very comfortable and wasn't too tight.
