I was so disappointed with this cutting guide that after 3 or 4 separate attempts to use it to make homemade square bread from a bread machine I just gave up and threw it away. It's not working at all like it's supposed to. CONSTANTLY falling apart. This doesn't make it any easier to cut the bread into more even, cleaner slices. The results were no better than my freehand cuts. I've only added to the frustration of messing around with that piece of plastic junk. It seems such a simple concept that I couldn't imagine that even an obviously cheap version of the concept wouldn't be able to get the job done. But no, this one failed miserably.
