When I saw this online I thought it might actually work if done right. I'm concerned about the handle because it's just a flat piece of steel. I actually bought this for my wife because instead of waiting for the butter to thaw in the fridge, she cuts it into chunks. Got it and it's great! Done right, well done! My wife didn't touch it at first but now she loves it! Love it! This knife delivers what it promises; Roll up small strips of butter and soften them so you can spread them easily on toast, bread, or the palm of your hand. The flat piece of steel that is the handle fits my hand perfectly and is comfortable. If you are uncomfortable, wrap it in leather, duct tape, paper towels, or crepe paper. This is a great kitchen tool. Some "high-end kitchen appliances" online sites sell it for a lot more. Forget it!
