Creates beautiful curls even in frozen butter! Although I wouldn't say it helps it spread out better than a regular knife. If you want softened butter, use a butter sump. They work like magic!

I love love love love love this whisk! I knew I needed a smaller whisk, but I didn't realize how much I needed this one! I use it all the time for sauces, drinks, whatever. The long handle is great, it's a good weight but not too light or too heavy. The whisk teeth are the perfect size, work well in a Pyrex pudding cup and large bowl with a whisk ring. Excellent steel, will not rust, will buy a few more to give to my friends who love to cook.

I found out about this product from an ad on a kitchen website that I use often, although I didn't actually do it. I'm a food gadget lover, so what's wrong with that, right? Really doesn't hurt, but the thing just doesn't work (after three attempts with three sticks of oil of different cold). You end up with a dirty glob of oil on what you intended to use the thing for, as well as greasy fingers from having to use them to wash the oil off the device. When I saw this online I thought it might actually work if done right. I'm concerned about the handle because it's just a flat piece of steel. I actually bought this for my wife because instead of waiting for the butter to thaw in the fridge, she cuts it into chunks. Got it and it's great! Done right, well done!
