Conventional hair curlers are better
It is difficult to curl hair in them. Because the padding is foam, the hair is curled at different rates, leaving parts frizzy and parts less frizzy. Worse still, it often leaves kinks in the hair strands. The clips do not hold the roller well. The steam from the machine is uneven. I've tried these and a set of traditional velvet lined hair rollers and found that the traditional hair rollers are much easier to use and produce nicer curls.
