My 2007 G35 coupe's clutch started slipping after about 100,000 miles, but even before that I heard a rattle or rattle coming from the clutch area at idle. As tempting as parts with lightweight flywheels sounded, I learned that driving this track can produce that rattling noise, and in worse cases it will sound a lot like a concrete mixer, so I researched more about dual mass flywheels and came across this one . What many have claimed is actually one of the OEM parts manufacturers. I paired this with a Jim Wolf Technology JWT Heavy Duty Clutch and couldn't be happier. Clutch engagement is now very smooth and no longer rattles - even after a year of replacement and maybe 5,000 miles mostly done on and off the track.
