This is a nice lightweight bike stand which I thought would be better suited for road bike use. Tire holders are shaped for thinner road bike tires and mid-size mountain bike tires; If the product description states that the tire's maximum width is 2.5 inches, please measure the actual dimensions of your tires and do not rely on the label on the sidewall of the tire. I have large volume 2.5" Continental MTB tires on my MTB and they don't fit on the bike rack. Luckily I also have a road bike and it works great on it. I also like how it folds into a nice compact size .
