
I've cooked blackened garlic a lot and also blackened onions which is pretty damn interesting too. I really like this machine and now that I have it I can't do without it in my kitchen. Actually I'm going to buy a 12 liter model next. The blackened garlic came out very tasty. The paper on top of the garlic was crispy and crackled to the touch. The black bead inside was easy to remove, and in front of me was a rich, smooth, pasty yum bomb. The flavor is spot on, the umami aroma envelops me, then I exhale, the rich aroma playing in my sinuses with exquisite, powerful satisfaction. It is really incredible. The wonderful smell of fermenting garlic fills my home for nine days with the interesting and ever-changing pleasant aroma created by this process. I really can't do it fast enough, everyone in my house and the few people I caught were hitting me on a regular basis. No lie, as we write this we got up to munch on some garlic. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.
