Dude, this thing really gets where you want it. It can bend ANYWHERE. I think the photos say most of what needs to be said about it. First a few more great things. The description states that the maximum extension of the clamp is 1 1/2 inches. I have a small table on the outside, exactly 1 1/2 inches thick, and I bought it specifically for this table hoping the clamp would open a BIT more than 1.5 inches. IT DOES! Just enough for the clamp to go over the table and I can tighten it. It may look unstable in photos, but it isn't. Another great thing is that the lips that wrap around the tablet (or phone) are deep enough to securely hold my Samsung Tab S4 with a thick-edged, poetic tablet sleeve. It doesn't fail! Check again ALL the corners where this item can be placed! So 2 things that are a bit disappointing. 1. The handle that you twist to close and open the clip is made of plastic. It feels like I could break it if I try to squeeze it with all my might. It's been great so far, but that's the one feature of this clip that doesn't inspire confidence. The handle is also so close to the base of the lever that at certain angles your fingers will get stuck in that part and you have to take care of it. 2. I only found ONE corner where the arm would not support the weight of the tablet no matter how hard I tightened the set screws on the bracket. You'll see in the photos (where it's hanging so obviously you won't be using it). But that doesn't really matter, because you can twist and bend this thing to REALLY get the position you want (I wouldn't even call that a minus). I will be moving this mount almost every day and the swivel knob is very important to me. So if this mount was $20 I would definitely give it 5 stars. I feel like for the $40 price tag they should have used a metal twist knob on the clamp (otherwise this mount is so strong) so 4 stars (4 1/2 stars if I could). I would still buy it again and recommend it to a friend. Hope that was helpful!
