i have an ipad Bought it to use.

I have an iPad. Bought it for my desk and bedside table. It won't support the weight of my iPad at all. If you slide the part that connects to the iPad past the clip that attaches to the table, the weight of the iPad will pull your hand down. Tries to tighten, loosen, adjust. Changing how/where it's appropriate etc. I even contacted the company about this (they never replied) to see if there was anything else I could do but to no avail. I wouldn't buy this for an iPad or any other tablet larger

Awesome at first but now the main hinge is loose - UPDATE - USER ERROR - sling included to tighten ALL connections

I bought this in white for my 9" iPad - I liked it initially but the main hinge gets lost and it won't stretch. Now I have to be very careful or my iPad will tip over backwards and I can't read the screen. The beauty of this holder was its excellent mobility, which allows you to place the iPad in almost any position. Dude, this thing really gets where you want it. It can bend ANYWHERE. I think the photos say most of what needs to be said about it. First a few more great things. The description states that the maximum extension of the clamp is 1 1/2 inches. I have a small table on the outside, exactly 1 1/2 inches thick, and I bought it specifically for this table hoping the clamp would open a BIT more than 1.5 inches. IT DOES!
