They are very soft and very flexible. I used mine to hand wax with TurtleWax Ceramic/Wax. I could reach every nook and cranny. I really appreciated how well the sponges absorb the wax and really extend the wax's ability to spread long distances. I used the soft touch line around the lining as a guide to navigate through the plastic trim. I didn't seal the plastic parts due to time constraints and these pads were just perfect. I rinsed them out with no problem, tossed them in the wash and they came out surprisingly clean. As a disclaimer no rags/sponges/or other items will come out pristine but very clean and reusable. The value for money is perfect. I couldn't be happier. I've also used these spacers on exterior plastic fairings with Chemical Guys VRP. The lips worked great. I'll probably buy another set just to have them finished. I love these sponges.
