I have been using ESI grips on my mountain bikes for many years and they hold up very well, are very comfortable and easy to fit. They're also a lot lighter than lock-on grips and have nice plastic bar end caps that stay in and won't scratch what you're leaning your bike against. I tried these grips as I really liked the gray color that matched the bike but am very disappointed and will be swapping them out for ESI grips after only a few uses as they really lack comfort - it feels feels like gripping the handlebars with a thin layer of rubber. And they even lack the thickness of the thinner ESI grips - they're definitely not thick enough for my hands and not comfortable. Also, they are much more difficult to mount than ESI Grips and the bar end caps fall out fairly easily. Stick with ESI Grips instead of those cheap fakes.
