Good cushioning grips but end caps are too hard

Pros: I liked these grips and how they felt compressible so their length can vary. They feel comfortable and absorb shock well. Cons: I didn't like the caps on the ends. Mine wouldn't fit in the hole in the steering wheel. I find the plastic used too hard and inflexible. Finally, I tried to knock them in by tapping them with a hammer, but they still wouldn't go in. When I knocked harder they broke. If you don't need end caps, that would be great.

Approximately 20g heavier than trendy half price silicone pens

Second set. It's not rubber or foam, it's silicone grips. Softer and lighter than rubber, harder than foam. Both kits weigh 75 grams. I use Windex for installation and removal. Installation is easy: spray on the ends of the rod and the inside of the handle, then press while twisting. Disconnect the grip from the steering wheel and spray Vindex there. Twist and pull again.

Spend $ on ESI or WolfTooth

I bought these knobs for $6 (black). Well, they're not even worth it. Their diameter was 28 mm, not 32, and the foam rubber is not dense at all. You feel the bar right through you. I had a very long pair of ESI grips but didn't want to sacrifice them for what I was going to do with them. They should be used to fill the gap between my ergonomic grips and the brake levers on the Jones Loop handlebar. They may do the trick but I have a feeling they won't last long as the material felt very cheap…

Uncomfortable and not comparable to ESI grips

I have been using ESI grips on my mountain bikes for many years and they hold up very well, are very comfortable and easy to fit. They're also a lot lighter than lock-on grips and have nice plastic bar end caps that stay in and won't scratch what you're leaning your bike against. I tried these grips as I really liked the gray color that matched the bike but am very disappointed and will be swapping them out for ESI grips after only a few uses as they really lack comfort - it feels feels like…
