Autovox W10 backup camera is a great way to add a backup camera to any vehicle. While it's not wireless like some other backup camera deals, it's still a great way to install a backup camera. What's in the box? a screen mount and cable to connect the display to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. The installation method for this camera is fairly simple, but not as easy as Autovox's all-wireless offerings. The rear view camera itself needs to be connected to the car for power supply. On the other hand, the display is simply plugged into the car's cigarette lighter socket. Camera The camera can be installed both in the front and in the back. Although no mention is made of the resolution, I can say that it is clear and sharp. It also has night vision, which is very useful when driving at night. (Night vision attached). The camera is also great for longer vehicles as it has a very long range meaning it can be a great option for vans or trucks. Display The display is also excellent. Its diagonal is 7 inches, which is a great size given the 720p resolution. I specifically looked for latency but didn't find anything spectacular considering it's completely wireless, with the exception of the display, which is powered by the car's cigarette lighter port. I also like the matte texture, which is useful when the display is in direct sunlight. Overall I am very satisfied with this product. It feels well designed and of good quality. I also appreciate that the camera is sharp and there is no lag. I have previously reviewed and tested the TW1 wireless backup camera. This product is for those who don't want to charge their camera every few months, unlike the TW1 which needs to be charged every few months. The completely wireless TW1 is better in the sense that you don't have to mess around with the car. You just stick the camera on with glue or just stick it on your license plate. So if you're thinking about buying a rear camera then this is great if you don't want to think about charging your rear camera every few months and want a slightly larger display. In conclusion, I recommend this product.
