When I purchased this dress, I wanted to see if it was as good as many of the reviews gave it, and I am not disappointed. I decided to wear it around the house as soon as I got it, without washing it first, knowing that if it shrunk, I would have at least worn it once! After washing it in my machine, in cold water, and then hanging it up to dry, it's the same size and shape as before, and that's what pleases me the most. It's very comfortable and ideal for a warm summer day. The length of it falls right at or slightly above my knees and is exactly the length I am most at ease wearing. Not only can I wear this as a dress, but also as a swimsuit cover-up and/or as a night gown. It's very versatile! The only issue I notice, and is what others too have said, is that the arm holes are a little large, exposing some of the bra or camisole under it. If I wore it out in public, I'd probably wear a sweater or jacket with it for that reason. I really do like this dress and intend to buy another one in a different color. It's hard to find clothes (online, without seeing them or trying them on first) that fit well and wash well, retaining the original shape and size, and I'm glad this dress proved the exception!
