Review on Seavenger Scout 3Mm Neoprene Child Wetsuit by Paul Green

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good quality, though fits extremely tight

My daughter is very petite (52 lbs, 49 "), and usually wears a 7-8 although she is nearly 10. However, I should have paid attention to the reviews, because the size 8 I bought her was way, way TOO TIGHT. Because she's also short for her age, I hesitated to buy her a 10 that would be really hard to roll up because of the zippers in the legs. I had to shake her into it, and couldn't quite do it, and my friend assured me it would be nearly impossible to get it off of her once she got it wet. I had to return it. The fabric was very thick and would likely have kept her warm.

Pros
  • great!
Cons
  • 3mm thickness may not provide enough buoyancy for some children
