Versatile use of parts and components

my everyday shoes. They work great and have solved the problem of overlapping front wheels when using socks. Also, they tend to hang freely vertically so the clamps are always pointing backwards so I don't have to look down to see the correct side. Turn the tops back and I'm on flat pedals. Flip them forward and I'm on braces. The pedals feel well made and solid, if a little heavy. They're not fragile, but they also won't appeal to those trying to lose weight while riding. The Shimano cleat clip I already had on my shoes was perfect (fairly neutral) and I didn't make any adjustments. It's easy to get on with a little weight down and it's noticeably easier to get off than with my minimalist Shimanos. The pedals I received have closed stems like the photos above. I noticed that the versions in the video had open stems. The bar shafts have a hex head for mounting without a pedal wrench. If you want to lengthen the shafts to add a bit more crank play, I recommend Sunlite extensions. However, you will need a pedal wrench for assembly.

Pros
  • Cleat: Shimano compatible cleats included
Cons
  • So so
