very satisfied with parts and components

Buy a new fat bike. Came without pedals. I used to use dual SPD pedals. Shimano is too expensive for me. So far they have done very well on two trips. No problem. The quality seems to be good. To adjust the tension of the clip you will need a 3mm Allen key. You can easily remove the reflector with a screwdriver. However, I decided to drill out the reflector a bit more prior to installing it on the pedal so that the reflector no longer needs to be removed to adjust clamping tension.

Pros
  • Compatibility: Compatible with Shimano SPD, adjustable tension (80~140 kgf.cm)
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Good value for money, free blocking.

These pedals are excellent value for money, they are strong, have a good grip on the clipless side and are as advertised. The cleat latch is a little wobbly, I pulled the tension almost all the way to the point where I'm having a bit of a hard time hooking the left cleat. But once the studs are in there is still a good amount of play left in the studs. I think it's just the lower quality that is to be expected in this price range.

Pros
  • Bearings: Sealed ball bearings
Cons
  • Minor

I bought these for my son. He likes to be clipped only on hills and plains. When it comes to technical descent and skiing, he prefers the unrestricted ability to use his legs for support and stabilization. He loves her. He gives them 5/5 stars. I've tried them a few times and feel like they're the worst of both worlds because side entry increases the difficulty of buckling in and the large platform reduces unhooking. Therefore I give 0/5 stars. I don't use my legs as a stabilizing support, I…

Versatile use of parts and components

my everyday shoes. They work great and have solved the problem of overlapping front wheels when using socks. Also, they tend to hang freely vertically so the clamps are always pointing backwards so I don't have to look down to see the correct side. Turn the tops back and I'm on flat pedals. Flip them forward and I'm on braces. The pedals feel well made and solid, if a little heavy. They're not fragile, but they also won't appeal to those trying to lose weight while riding. The Shimano cleat…
