Review on πŸ”Š Enhanced Sound Blaster Audigy Fx - Audio Card - 24 by Mateusz Szlassa ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A great option for this money, I definitely recommend it!

The situation is quite precarious. A Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Fx sound card was just recently added to my collection. It's a PCI-E card. After inserting it into the correct slot and installing the necessary drivers, I was able to successfully use it. After turning the computer on the following day, I discovered that there was no sound. When I restarted the computer, all that could be heard was a dull grinding sound. After deciding to take the card out and put it back in, I discovered that there was no sound. After moving it to a different connector and turning on the computer, I was able to hear the sound. I had the impression that I was covering up one of the connectors with myself. After that, I gave the machine a fresh start, and it was at that point that the sound ceased functioning. When I moved it back to the slot where it had been since the beginning, the sound returned (because moving the card to a different slot is the only thing that seems to help when the sound stops working for some reason). After that, I went back to the store and exchanged the item; however, they refunded the money to me since they claim the card is defective. I purchased the exact identical card from a different retailer. Once more, the course of history was repeated. Then I went to the store to demand a refund, but they did not give it to me since they claimed the card was still operational. As I sit here now, I'm trying to figure out what the issue is. The following is a list of my computer's components: The motherboard is an ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS, the processor is a Ryzen 2400g, the memory is Samsung, the video card is a gtx 1060 6GB, and the power supply is 550 watts. Windows 10, driver software for the sound card acquired from a third-party website. Could someone please assist me in finding a solution to this issue.

Pros
  • The sound is quite good, and the card itself is fine. I enjoy sound settings
Cons
  • The operation of this card on my computer caused some foolishness, which completely ruined my first impression of it. While attempting to find a solution to the problem.
