
My family has used Pyrex bowls for generations. Pyrex can withstand heat in a way that regular glass cannot. You can pour boiling liquid into them and they won't break. You can put them in the oven. Try not to drop them! They're not as strong as stainless steel, but they hold their shape (!), are easy to clean, look great and fold well. I have lids for them which makes the pudding keep much better in the fridge and allows me to stack them in the fridge!
