Each of the two pears lasted less than 10 days! Serious?
All precautions were taken (handling bulb with disposable vinyl gloves, cartridges checked for corrosion) but each bulb lasted less than 10 days! Since the outdoor light uses dimming brightness from dusk to dawn and reaches full brightness when motion is detected, replacing a halogen lamp is not an easy task, changing lamps 3 times has become very frustrating! After those 2 went down a national brand with slightly more power was installed and has been running for 2 months now. Needless to say, I do not recommend buying these lamps.
