It is best to attach your dog's leash to your camper.

Forest River is now adding this to their new trailers and calling it the Leash Latch. If you have an old caravan and are looking for a way to attach your dog's leash to your caravan, camper or 5th wheel. This is your best option in my opinion. It looks clean and professional when installed on the bus. No more wrapping the chain around the bumper and scratching the surface. I have a miniature dachshund so I'm not worried about it being attached to the aluminum side of my steps.
