I wouldn't call it hard work.

I used to use a hole punch and eyelet tool and wasn't thrilled with the pliers which is why I bought this set. I've been looking for a new one in the market and it seems very cheap. The stamp seems fine, very similar to my old one. I wasn't very enthusiastic about the "leather bag" either - when I opened it, the pliers fell on my knees. Trying to get the punch out of the rubber band was a big problem. I'll probably still get plenty of use out of the items, but I may need to look into another ear punch (I also find it more difficult to use than the one I had and doesn't seem snug enough to tie into fabric use , even two layers, which is my main use.)
