Super strong rare earth (neodymium) magnets wrapped in leather, ideal for the kitchen or shop! With an outer diameter of 1 3/8 inches, the small lip around the scratch-resistant leather cover makes it easy to slide your nails under the magnet to lift it off the fridge or desk surface safely. I don't think the magnets will hold 18 lbs each without using the included adhesive buttons, but they will hold 16 oz. Hammer with claws and 12" adjustable wrench with no added adhesive. 5 magnets in a small plastic box with 5 adhesive pads. Even inside the cardboard sleeve of the outer packaging, the magnetic force affects anything near that packaging - keep away from sensitive electronics/storage devices I received this free product in exchange for my unbiased review.
