I bought this to help with loud phone calls, increase the volume and have a more sensitive mic than a single phone. Pros: beautiful color. Cons: The volume is not very loud, the listener can hear the sound when they press the volume button, the listener can hear the whistling sound, the microphone is on the bottom, so it doesn't pick up very well. I tested it twice with my daughter, once was a phone call and the other was a video call using WhatsApp. The call came first and had no hiss but other negatives were present. The WhatsApp call had a whistle for the listener that stopped when the speaker was turned off, so it was a device. The sound quality was no better (louder) than my phone's speaker, and the microphone pickup was no better than my phone's. I ended up sending this item back.
