Review on Derale 15730 Thermostatic Sandwich Adapter by Andre Pendergrass
As long as it works well I don't know.
So far so good, I don't know if the 'thermostat' function works or if the adapter is in the 'always open' state. I installed this on a 2009 Toyota Tacoma 4.0L engine. I don't know the exact temperature difference, but it was only added as an additive for engine oil durability.
