I have purchased multiple batches of these devices twice and am in the process of ordering a third batch; I use this product solely for weaving - my own projects as well as weaving lessons - on looms and looms and the length and gauge of the needles make the needlework easy! The needle eyelets are large enough to easily thread any yarn, but not so large as to impede movement between the warp threads. The extra length of the needle allows each to be used as a bobbin for tapestry weaving. They are spectacular in yarn of any density! And they are not sharp as even blunt metal needles can be, which is very valuable! And for their price, I can let students own the needle they use so they can continue working at home on projects they started in class.
