My daughter wears a six and can fit a couple of sevens and it fits her perfectly. The style is absolutely gorgeous and I love the long sleeves. it means less sunscreen for us, which makes everyone happier. The cut has good coverage and the inside of the pants have rubber grips on either side to keep them in place where they need to be. The suit is both feminine and sporty. She thinks she looks really cute in it and I agree. We've used it in the pool before and I just rinsed it out and let it air dry and it was fine. Definitely good protection for my kindergarten child.
