Review on πŸ”Œ Enhanced Extech MN24-KIT Electrical Testing Kit by Mike Devine

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Large economical electrical test kit.

Bought this kit at a great price. As long as everything works as it should. I have no complaints at all. My daughter had a problem with her dryer and I couldn't fix it for her. But she borrowed a voltage tester with an electric pen and following my instructions she was able to troubleshoot her dryer (blown fuse) and repair it herself. So this set has already paid for itself. It would easily cost them $50 to take the dryer to a repair center. I paid about $20 for the whole set at Revain and the fuse was only a few dollars. User Note: Electrical testers are great for quick troubleshooting. However, they may fail from time to time (not necessarily associated with this brand, but with all brands in general). So if you're working with a potentially WORKING circuit, use a meter to verify if there is one there or not. tension is present. I have had several different brands of these devices and sometimes they give incorrect readings with no power. But to quickly diagnose the presence of electricity, they are quite reliable and can save you a lot of time. But if you've narrowed down the problem to one point and you can't unplug or otherwise disable the circuit, check your results with a meter! Electrical pin testers are a MUST in my toolbox. Apparently they are a MUST for everyone else because they keep stealing mine! rzunimag.
