Uneven texture, high quality, low price

I've used rings twice the price of these and they hold up pretty well. Here's what's good and bad about them: Pros: 1) Cam buckles feel very strong. This is the number one cause of ring set failure and these bad boys have strong springs and appear to be well made. Time will tell, but they inspire confidence just by looking at them.2) Textured Rings. The texture of the rings is excellent: not slippery, but also not "cut hands" high friction. I usually tape the rings together, but I might leave them out a bit to see if I like the material. Cons: 1) Sizes are not listed on the straps. This makes setting the two rings the same height a guesswork and test. I could mark the rings with a marker or something but I would like the sizes printed. 2) Threading the straps through the cams is agony. Took me literally 45 minutes. I ended up gluing the ribbons on, threading the ribbon, using tweezers to grab the ribbon, and then threading the ribbons. Really hard to do! 3) Belts are worn at the ends. Unfortunately, all the work of getting the straps through the cams meant they ended up wearing out a bit. 4) Ugly. The color of the rings resembles dark gray tone. It's really ugly. All in all, these are great budget rings. They seem to be quite durable and whether you like them or not depends on whether you like the uneven texture. and be patient to thread the straps through the cams.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • The list will be long.
