UPDATED 8/4/21 My cat was tied up outside. She liked lying in the grass. She got up, walked around, reached the end of the rope, then turned and backed out of the harness. To return. There is a big difference in size between small and medium. My 9 lb cat has a several inch gap between the straps. They don't even come close to each other, let alone overlap, so they can be attached with velcro. The medium has gaps. I'm worried that she might escape. Looks like it should be between small and medium. It's very easy to put on which is a plus. I will update my review to show how it works.
