Installation was very easy. Take your time and route the wire properly and drill 1/4 holes in the rubber grommet under the passenger seat and the plastic covers on the tailgate to route the wire. You want to run a wire to the passenger door and it will be tied to the green wire and the red wire. Go to an auto parts store and ask for "T-Tap Connectors". They are easy to use and allow you to disconnect the cable with a spade connector. Please note that there may be burrs on the sheet metal which may snag in use. You can file them down or let them wear naturally.
