Review on πŸ” Nikon 7070 Binocular Window Mount: Secure, Hands-Free Viewing Experience in Black by Michael Tegan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Continuous. Must be tilted along the horizontal axis. Can be used as a shoulder bandage for field work.

Strong design. Limitations include not being able to tilt it about the horizontal axis when attached to a car window, as others have pointed out. The size of the quick release plate is different than that used on the heads of various popular tripods such as the Promaster tripod. It would be more convenient to use if it was designed to accommodate a wider range of standard tripod baseplates. An added bonus is that the window adapter can remain attached to the camera when not mounted on a window - then this device offers a better grip. Stabilization when the pan handle is against the shoulder and the left palm is pressed against the window mount. Works well with SONY a6500 IBIS (In-Body Image Stabilization) with a 55-210mm lens and adds extra vibration reduction for at least one extra exposure stop. Hold the grip on your right shoulder and look through the Electronic Viewfinder (EVF) with your right eye.
