We had this tree stand for 2 Christmas holidays and it is AMAZING. Here's why: 1. Ease of use. No "hold the tree while I tighten the bolts" or "it's crooked, we need to reset it". 1 person holds it and the 2nd person just pushes the lever to tighten the claws until the bell rings. 2. Sturdy - It's exceptionally strong - it fell out of the box when we got it out of the garage. Dropped 10 feet onto concrete and suffered no cracks or fractures.3. tree size. We regularly plant a 9 foot tree and I can say it can even support a taller tree. This still surprises us given that the stand is only 6 inches tall. Tree Installation Time - With this stand, the installation of our Christmas tree is much faster than other plantings. It takes longer to remove a tree from an SUV and move it into a house than it does to put a tree in this stand. Smaller Storage - This tree stand is smaller than previous tree stands so it takes up less space in our limited storage space.
