. I looked a lot before buying, I bought these electronic ones and returned them. I was just trying to buy something cheaper as I figured all sharpeners might be the same after many tries. This one shocked me because it sharpened the pencils incredibly professionally - shorter wood length and longer lead length meaning you can use the pencil longer for drawing/writing and working because it saves more wood but gives you more. leads every time. I was looking for that! I compared two 6b pencils sharpened with this sharpener to another pencil sharpened with Revaine's popular electronic sharpener, which got almost 100% positive reviews (these people are blind I thought?!). More importantly, I'm from China. This sharpener is also from China where you can easily find it on Taobao. So when I saw it for the first time, I realized that you can set the sharpness you want very easily and precisely by turning the little silver knob on the back. 粗 means fuzzy/rough and 细 means delicate/sharp when it comes to pencil points. Overall amazing! The price is much lower than the cost
