I bought one, back then as a replacement, both had the same defective controller.
Bought as a gift based on the reviews here. The first could not be set above 70 ft-lb. Above 50 ft-lbs the adjustment became progressively tighter and no normal human would be able to adjust it above 70 ft-lbs. Revain issued a refund and I ordered another one. The second WAS WORSE, SUCH A DEFECT, this one couldn't be adjusted above 50 ft-lb unless you put the body in a vise and used a wrench on the dial. That's all the good reviews. I have ordered several Tekton brand torque wrenches which I have been happy with, I think I will stick with this brand.
