These things are just as good as the Klein version and not nearly as expensive they are amazing for a residential electrician

Great tool for electrical work.

I put it to the test bringing it with me to do my 100 and two hundred amp service work and it helped me get my job done more efficiently.

Have low expectations

I’ve used this style of cutters before with success but these belong in the round file.Bypassing from the first try on copper 2/0 welding cable. Tried to tighten the hinge bolt to friction fit and made the cutting edges sharper. Still no joy. Ratchet action ends too soon before cut is done. What a mess.

We have several pairs of these and have had no problem with any of them. That's my review. They work as well as the brand name cutters.

Great for the Buck$

These cutters work great I have no problem cutting 2/0 copper service wire. They feel great in the hand and cut smoothly.

Did not last a year.

The cutters do their job, however the little fragile spring used to keep the handles open so that you can keep ratcheting/cutting was not thick enough to handle it's one job: TO SPRING.!I was really expecting something else to break first (for the price of the tool), but the spring? Come on now!

Awesome battery cable cutter.

I used this product to cut battery terminals off the thick cable on a F150. The terminals were broke and would not tighten up causing truck to be jumped periodically to start. The ratcheting technique slices through these thick cables with ease. Well worth the money.

Great Cutters for Price

Was reluctant at first but for one tenth the cost of name brands these aren’t bad have made about one hundred cuts in 4/0 so far and they are still doing fine, wondering about longevity but so far so good will keep posted

Great performance and great value. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This cutter is excellent! It is less bulky and much easier to operate than my foreman's name brand cutters. I'm an apprentice electrician, and I made several cuts through four aluminum conductors. Three of them were 1 AWG insulated aluminum and the fourth was a 6 AWG aluminum grounding conductor. They are most definitely worth much more than what I paid for them, considering the prices of the name brand cutters out there. With this cutter, you get the same (if not better) performance and…

Oh its horrible for my opinion

Its horrible for what it is advertised to do. Not worth the trouble. The ratchet mechanism jams, and the cutting blade would not cut butter.
