This cutter is excellent! It is less bulky and much easier to operate than my foreman's name brand cutters. I'm an apprentice electrician, and I made several cuts through four aluminum conductors. Three of them were 1 AWG insulated aluminum and the fourth was a 6 AWG aluminum grounding conductor. They are most definitely worth much more than what I paid for them, considering the prices of the name brand cutters out there. With this cutter, you get the same (if not better) performance and quality at a fraction of the price. I highly recommend this tool if you're in the construction trade.
