A good concept but it’s junk! This cut 4/0 copper cable 3-4 times max before the blades got dull. When that happened the strands jam making it a helluva problem clearing the mess out of the tool, resulting in a very unclean cut. Actually it was a monster to unjam the uncut cable. Better to use a hacksaw or try staring at it. Bottom line is the blades are not hardened steel and can’t be sharpened. Evidence is the cutting edges are painted black. A waste of money and time. Buy this and you’ll regret it unless cutting noodles.

This item is great !!!! Works as good if not better that the ones that cost you an arm and a leg. Got 2 of them and they cut 2/O copper with ease
