I use a rawhide hammer for my leatherworking hobby. It was great, it did the job, but sometimes it hurt if you didn't hit it on the forehead. I had my doubts about this tool as it had an odd shape (to me at least) but when it arrived I saw how useful this shape could be. First, it's VERY heavy, so when you hit the chisel it hits straight down, not in an arc like a hammer. Really the only complaint I have is the construction as the screw holding it together often comes loose making me nervous about the head flying off and the window shattering. Keep that in mind and you should be fine.
