It does what it's supposed to do when you type it.

Considering the price, this is a pretty handy tool to have in your arsenal. I only have about half an hour with him and I've put a lot of holes in my razors but he's getting used to it. I'm not a fan of connectors, both for the argon tank and torch. If you ever want to use one of your other flashlights, you'll need to make a few changes. The pedal is terrible, use the sub toe switch. Settings vary widely depending on the type of metal being welded and the depth of penetration. When photographing thin materials, pay attention not only to the amperage, but also to the duration *welding time* (not interval). I want to make something thick like a bolt and nut, I'll repost when I get there. I had no luck with the wire feeder. A lot of videos I've seen show your rod (wire in this case) just in front of the imaginary puddle. The arc will pull the wire in, let's see if I can get it down. Oh and reduce your CFH, at 4 cups I've had the best luck at 12-13 cfh. . It's huge. I've welded 1/4" stainless steel with no problem. I was a bit puzzled by the tactile switch, still working on it. Honestly I bought it for the cold function on thin sheet metal so it's not a priority (duty cycle is obvious for TIG use) I've been able to weld very dissimilar metals together, copper to stainless steel, stainless steel to 1018, things I used to solder with silicon bronze (okay not copper, I've never had to weld copper!) I'll update as I experiment more with it I have Added photos of 1/8" stainless steel spot welds and a quick test in titanium tubing, both of which worked great. Says it only goes up to 180a (?)
