Didn't notice any difference in bass when first installed. Also, the piece got damaged when I had to remove it (my fault). But when I contacted customer service to possibly replace a small part. Their reply was quite sad that there was nothing they could do. I'd rather spend my money on a better brand and better customer service. save your money
